Learn to Fly, Improve your Thermalling, Cross Country !
St Andre has been a well known flying site for a long time now and has hosted various championships. 
Learn to fly in 5 days ! The local school Aerogliss runs courses throughout the year and after 3 days you'll be flying solo from the local take off point 600m above St Andre. (Beginners 5-day courses include five Grand-Vols - top to bottom from 600m solo). Courses need to be booked early in high season -July and August.
For club pilots and beyond, St Andre is a great place to practice those thermalling skills.
The local school teaches Paragliding throughout the year and is an ideal place to learn. Training usually takes place in the mornings before it gets too thermic for learning and in the evening when lift is smooth you can fly up to sunset. The school runs a shuttle bus to and from take off (4 or 5 Euros) and guest pilots are asked to take out associate membership (8 euros) .
